Training Opportunities

CPSP has a tradition of excellence in the practice of providing spiritual care. Our training seeks to maintain our high standards of practice. Traditionally, this has included the achievement of academic degrees consistent with the leadership requirements of a limited number of faith groups. We now understand that different faith groups approach faith leadership formation from different perspectives. All are rigourous, but not all follow the same paths. If candidates for training by CPSP can demonstrate that their faith community supports them as spiritual leaders, CPSP will examine their individual credentials, evaluate their personal suitability, and if they are accepted as students, will prepare a course of training that is suited to their situation.
